Meet Our Staff

Tony started in the construction industry in 1974. He worked as a superintendent for many well known construction companies in the Bay Area. He received his own general contractors license in 1986, and began remodeling homes throughout the Bay Area. From there, he took his knowledge of construction and brought it to the roofing industry. Tony is known for his exceptional customer service and professionalism.

Ralph has worked in the Sacramento construction industry for over 25 years and for the past 7 years, in the roofing industry exclusively.  As a former Gold River business owner, he credits his success to his  dedication to  customer service and a cheerful attitude.

Matthew went to school at CSUS where he studied business with an emphasis in real estate development; shortly after college he joined a real estate company in Sacramento where he practiced real estate from 2008-2015. From 2016-2017 Matthew started working for a construction company where he was involved in sales. He enjoyed sales and decided to pursue that industry, taking his talents to Cal Vintage Roofing.

Jim was born and raised in Sacramento and was also a licensed contractor for 10 years. Having knowledge, education and training in both roofing and construction ensures each project exceeds his clients expectations. He has installed and repaired every type of roof, both residential and commercial. Jim is a true problem solver and enjoys tackling the challenges involved with roofing projects. He is a great resource for Cal-Vintage Roofing and even more so for our clients!

Joel Cigelske is a native of Sacramento and has a lifetime of customer service in the construction industry. He started by assisting his father managing rental properties while growing up, and becoming a roofer at the age of seventeen to earn an income while attending California State University, Sacramento. Joel’s 28 years of expertise in the installation and repair of any type of roofing product on residential and commercial structures of various difficult designs,  has earned him the respect of his peers in the Sacramento Roofing Industry.

Jesse was born and raised in Roseville and has been in the construction industry for 20 years. He started his career in hvac and sheet metal. He entered the roofing industry 10 years ago. Jesse was highly recommended as a roofing repairman and became one of our lead repair roofers. With the skills he acquired for inspecting roofs for leaks and damage, he transitioned into sales in 2017. His new position brings on a new challenge and he looks forward to continue growth with Cal-Vintage Roofing.

Christian assists the Cal-Vintage team in many areas of the company. From assisting the accounting, production  and sales department, to keeping our computers up to speed  and marketing. He comes to work every day with an abundance of energy and a smile! His dedication and eagerness to learn makes him a wonderful addition to our “Roofing” family.

Michelle joined our team in 2016 as our new Controller/Bookkeeper. She brings 10 years of accounting and 15 years of administration service. She started her career as a customer service representative in the Bay Area (born in the Philippines) which evolved into an Accounting Clerk. In 2008 while working, her love of accounting led her to obtaining a degree in Bachelors of Science in Business Accounting. Her career path led her, along with her family to Sacramento where she brought her expertise and knowledge as a Controller for a small business. Prior to working for us, she gained years of experience in the accounting and roofing industry while working for a local roofing company. Michelle is efficient diligent in all her work and a wonderful asset to us.

April has over twenty years of customer experience, with eleven of those years as a manager at Bel Air Super Market. Working with customers on a daily basis taught her great communication, multi-tasking and people skills …which she brought to Cal-Vintage! Her lively energy and welcoming personality has made her a wonderful addition to our roofing family….and we like to keep it in the family!! Her step-father Joel Cigelske, is one of our top Roof Repair Consultants.

Kurt is a third generation employee and is excited to be part of the family business. From a young age, he witnessed his strong family values and work ethic. He is eager to continue investing in Cal-Vintage’s long term growth and vitality. His current role in the business stems more on the innovational side than the traditional side. Kurt produces the drawings, measurements and components needed for installing a reroof using computer aided software. This advanced technology accounts for every detail and provides our Sales Team and Production Department with consistent and accurate reports. This in turn means our clients receive thorough specifications, and pricing for their roofing projects.

Nelson worked in our re-roof department for 8 years before joining our technical department as a Roof Technician. His previous experience and extensive knowledge go hand in hand with our computer aided software to produce the first part of the information needed to create estimates. With his great capability, accurate measuring and comprehensive photos, Nelson creates thorough estimates for our clients.
