Roof certifications and inspections are an important service provided by the Real Estate and Repair Division of Cal-Vintage Roofing. We understand the demands of a real estate transaction... whether you are the real estate agent, buyer or seller, we provide you with a variety of services that can help expedite your sale and save you valuable time and effort. We provide courteous service in a timely manner , usually 24-48 hours from the time the service is requested, and are sensitive to the needs of all parties involved during our certifications/inspections, phone communication and reports. Our services are payable through escrow if necessary.

Roof Certifications/Inspections

Cal-Vintage performs roof certifications to provide potential buyers with greater security regarding a part of your home that is often a concern for buyers - and often overlooked by the homeowner until a problem occurs.

Reasons for conducting a roof certification are:

• To inform the buyer about the roof's condition
• To disclose the roof's remaining life expectancy
• To make any necessary repairs and remove the roof condition as a possible objection to the sale of your home.

When you request a roof certification, you will get an unbiased, detailed roof inspection report (minimal fee charged). This report is a formal document which contains a professional opinion about the roof, the description of the roof, findings, life expectancy, work recommended and digital photos.

Roof Certification/Leak-Free Warranty prices are determined by the number of repairs and or reroof that may be needed on that particular roof, plus an added cost for the perceived liability the Company faces in covering the leak-free status of the roof for the entire certification/ warranty period. One(1) or two (2) year certifications/warranties for a defect free composition shingle roof start at $175.00; However, the repairs and cost to create a leak free condition and insure the coverage period on older, wood shake, concrete tile and steep pitched roof systems, could be more. *If the roof does not need any repairs or a reroof, you also have the option of purchasing a certification/leak-free warranty.

We also offer free estimates that include a proposal that itemizes any necessary repairs or reroof, the cost for the work, and any warranty that would apply to the particular roof system.
